  • Are you trying to get a table on the art walk?

    Unfortunately, Artlink cannot provide you with the permission or permitting that allows you to vend. However, you can take place in one of the regulated street closure areas that allow guests to peruse a cohesive arena for multiple vendors!
  • Can Artlink find a place for me to show my art?

    Because each gallery has their own vision and submission policy, it is in your best interest to visit the spaces and see which ones might best fit your style and contact them directly about their submission policies. If you send us a couple of images and a brief description by email, we might be able to point you in the direction of potential galleries.

  • Does the City of Phoenix or the Phoenix Art Museum run First Fridays?

    No, the First Fridays art walk is an Artlink event. Through sponsorships, supporters and member participation, we are able to facilitate a free shuttle for attendees, as well as provide them with a detailed map for an ultimate art walk experience. We do appreciate the city's help in promoting our events and we are consistently finding new ways to work together to make downtown be all that it can be! The Phoenix Art Museum is one of our treasured sponsors and though they don't run the event, we are excited about our relationship that allows us to mingle patrons and show new visitors our respective benefits. We are excited to foster new ideas together and greatly appreciate their support!

  • I don't have/can't use/hate the computer, can I sign-up and pay by phone or through the mail?

    We do understand that not every person can do transactions online, but because of our relatively small group of volunteers, any time you can use the website, it is greatly appreciated. Our new site has a lot of features to tend to your needs. If this is not an option for you, contact us by phone/email and we will take it from there.

  • Is there a First Fridays event in the summer?

    Yes, First Fridays takes place 12 months and year and always falls on the very first Friday of every month, even if that date is a holiday.

  • What's the difference between a member, a supporter and a sponsor?

    Members are the galleries and businesses that sign-up to be participants in our First Fridays and Art Detour events. Supporters are individuals who contribute a small annual fee to Artlink for special benefits. Sponsorships are available in a variety of levels and benefits can be tailored to fit the needs of the individual or group.
  • Where can I get a First Fridays map?

    At the headquarters at the Phoenix Art Museum or at many of the venues on the tour. If you want to print one out, there is a .PDF available on the Artlink website.
